Plagiarism Policy

Every manuscript is screened for similarity before it is sent to review.

• The text must be the authors' own. Quotations must be marked and attributed.
• Reused text from the authors' own earlier publications (self-plagiarism) must be cited like any other source.
• Submitting the same manuscript to more than one journal at a time is not allowed.

What happens when similarity is found

• Minor — the manuscript is returned to the authors for correction.
• Substantial — the manuscript is rejected and the authors are informed of the reason.
• After publication — the editorial board investigates, publishes a correction or retraction, and informs the authors' institution.

Retraction notices stay permanently available and the DOI continues to resolve, so the record of the correction is not lost.
