Most of them (70%) heard about the festivals through social media. The majority of respondents (85%) believes that festivals contribute to cultural tourism development, as they promote Uzbek culture (87.5%), preserve traditions (82.5%), attract tourists (80%) and support local business (70%). The problems the respondents see are a lack of advertising (36.4% obtained this answer), lack of information in English (27.3%) and issues with transportation and accommodation.
